WAA was commissioned to provide design services for a large park within the new Wangjiadun CBD. Similar to the pleasure of admiring a beautifully drawn landscape, the park will reveal a complex but simple natural harmony of mountains within nature. What appears at first glance as a single mountain reveals itself as multiple mounds organized in an ever-changing harmony of hills, meadows and forests. Within the park are a number of thematic areas which recall the various landscapes associated with mountainous regions and featuring multilevel terraces, a lake, a twelve meter tall natural waterfall and a working wetland.
